Classic Hisingen around Wieselgrensplatsen and Rambergsvallen — midway between Lundby, the yards and town.
Kyrkbyn and Rambergsstaden are the old working-class blocks of Hisingen, built as the shipyards and Volvo grew. The buildings are solid 1930s and 1940s stock with sensible layouts, and it shows in the price per bed compared with Norra Älvstranden right next door.
From Wieselgrensplatsen trams run both into the centre and west across the island. The Volvo Group site in Lundby and Eriksberg are both close enough that many of our tenants walk or cycle to work.
This is the district we suggest most often when a crew is headed for Lundby or Norra Älvstranden but doesn't want to pay Lindholmen prices.

Getting to work from here
The lines that run from here, and approximate driving time to the larger worksites — measured from the centre of the district, without traffic. Add a few minutes in the morning peak towards Torslanda and into town. Nobody can promise an exact journey time; these are here so you can compare districts against each other.
