Stora Högsbo is the engineering and industrial area between Västerleden and Dag Hammarskjöldsleden, merging southwards with Sisjön into one of Gothenburg's largest continuous business districts. Installation, vehicles, builders' merchants, workshops and wholesale sit close together here — the kind of workplaces that regularly bring people in from elsewhere.
What makes the area interesting right now is Humlestaden. Stena Fastigheter and Ikano Bostad are converting the old Pripps site into a new district of around 3,000 homes, starting construction in spring 2027. It is the single largest building project in Gothenburg starting in the next two years.
For a crew, Högsbo is practical for the same reason Arendal is: it was built for the car. Västerleden and Dag Hammarskjöldsleden run straight through, Söderleden takes you east, and there is parking in a way there simply is not in town. We pick properties where the service van can stay overnight.

Yes. The area is built for the car and our properties here have parking at the building, so a crew leaving around six avoids both public transport and the queue into town.
